How To Get Rid Of Gnats In Potted Plants

Besides good weather and fun times, Summer might bring unwanted guests to your green friends like gnats. These annoying but harmless black flies are looking for a moist soil to set up their breeding ground, and they are very active during the warm seasons.

If your plant got them, most likely you have been watering it too often and that is why gnats are totally head over heels for your plant 😀

No worries, this can be easily controlled if action is taken as soon as you see them around.

How To Get Rid Off Gnats In Potted Plants

Remove 2"-3" of top soil, top it off with the fresh one. We recommend using Good Dirt Potting Mix
Allow the soil to dry out for a few days so the top two inches of soil is dry. Gnats can not survive in dry soil.
